Police Reserves

  • Do you want to become a police officer?
  • Do you want to be active in your community?
  • Do you want to learn about your local law enforcement agency?

The Onalaska Police Reserves is a great way to start. The purpose of the reserves is to augment the regular police force. The reserve unit is a volunteer organization that assists the Onalaska Police Department and the community.

Membership Requirements:

  • U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • High moral and ethical standards
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good physical health
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Attend regular monthly meetings
  • Participate in training classes
  • Make an on-going commitment of time and energy to be an active member
