Seasonal Paperwork

Welcome to the City of Onalaska team.  Starting a new job is always a stressful time.  The Human Resources office is here to assist you in achieving the maximum satisfaction with your employment.  If you have any questions or concerns please stop in the Human Resources or call for clarification.

We are now trying to streamline our process by utilizing the NeoGov Onboarding system.  This means you will need to login and complete required paperwork and review policies and procedures.  Unfortunately, the system requires you to login within 24 hours.  If you do not, please contact Human Resources and request a password reset (the system won't work to reset online) or you may call the toll-free number after hours at: (855) 524-5627 and leave a message if no one answers.  They typically respond within a couple of hours.

Thank you for choosing to join a team of dedicated City of Onalaska employees.  Our mission is to provide an exemplary level of city services at a cost that is at or below comparable municipalities in our tri-state area.  City Hall is to be a welcoming place where visitors and residents' questions or concerns are received warmly and we strive to resolve issues on the first contact.

It is the City of Onalaska's responsibility to clearly define policies, procedures and standards of performance.   We provide a copy of our policies and procedures to you through our NeoGov system. This is your copy of the City of Onalaska Personnel Policies and Procedures and Safety Rules.

The Common Council for the City of Onalaska is responsible for the establishment and revision of personnel policies.  If there is any conflict between these policies and applicable State and Federal laws, the laws shall take precedence.
